LAX has also embarked on a multi-billion dollar modernization program designed to provide improved, state-of-the-art facilities for passengers and visitors. The Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) Terminal is part of this infrastructure modernization program. The MSC Program includes a new concourse facility located in the central area of the airfield, west of the International Terminal. The MSC will improve overall airport efficiencies and operations, reduce remote gate usage, and ensure the travel experience for international LAX travelers which will ensure uninterrupted operations and schedules at other terminals. DLCE is playing a key role in the construction supervision of the MSC by managing the new federal customs and airport employee security facility installations, providing project management of new facility materials and equipment, and supervising the development of all new concession facilities.
Purple Line Subway Program Management

DLCE provided engineering services and technical support on the planning, alternatives analysis, preliminary engineering (PE), draft and final Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR) and project construction support for major transportation for the Metro Westside Purple Line Subway project in Los Angeles, CA. The $8.0 billion Project extends the Metro Purple line subway approximately nine miles from its current terminus at Wilshire/Western Station to a new western terminus in West Los Angeles near the Veteran’s Administration West Los Angeles Medical Center in Westwood.
Interstate 5 Project

The Interstate 5 project which looks to enhance capacity and safety will add new north and south carpool lanes between State Route 14 and 5 freeway interchange. This project will be closely coordinated with Metro and Caltrans.
